One day I was sitting at home scrolling through pinterest and saw a wedding that incorporated disco balls. I fell in love with the concept, but not so much the colors. I am more of a vibrant gal if you couldn’t tell already. So instead of waiting for a bride to make her wedding day full of disco balls and bright pinks and oranges, I created it myself… with help of course!

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t in over my head. I started the planning process of a styled shoot and realized realllllll quick that I was basically planning a mini wedding and that there are SO many other things that go into a styled shoot that I didn’t even think about … like a table setting? I completely forgot that I needed that… So the whole styled shoot got put on the back burner. I forgot about it honestly.

Untilllllll I was about a month out. I realized that this was going to be a huge marketing plus for me, my friend Kayleigh (who also helped with this day), and all the other vendors. So I got to it. I saw this girl Merrill on instagram somehow and saw she planned events, weddings, etc. and I reached out to her. To my surprise honestly, she replied SO quick saying she was all in. I didn’t know how much I needed her or how much my heart yearned for a friend like her either. To say I appreciate and love Merrill is now an understatement. She quickly became one of my greatest blessings and I already have her on speed dial for when I get engaged.

This day could not have gone ANY better. Amidst the chaos and pressing timeline, the day was EVERYTHING I could have ever imagined or what I could have wanted. It honestly brings me to tears when I think about it. I could write a novel about each and every vendor and one day I just might, but for now, I am BEYOND thankful for everyone who was a part of my lil dream and I cannot wait to work with them all again whether it be for another shoot or for my own wedding! I am the luckiest girl in the world to have a job where I can build relationships and create amazing things with the people around me!
